EL ZOTZ... so you wanna sell records?
El Zotz not a store. We are a collective of individual vendors who want to keep things mellow while getting our old records out to make room for the new (or just make room period-- we at El Zotz know how it goes!)-- without having to take the kind of price break you gotta eat when you take records to sell to a storefront.
Want to participate? Joining El Zotz is pretty easy-- just contact us with the quantity and kinds of vinyl you'd like to sell. You'll be accepted based on the quality and condition of the records. We aim for diversity in our crates, but condition is key.
To sell your records in our zone at Bombshell Vintage, either pop in on a Sunday between 11AM and 6PM to talk with El Zotz spiritual leader Jen OR email her directly: jen -at- elzotzrecords.com
Want to roll with us (via your vinyl) to events? After we accept your records, you'll be notified of upcoming events and can choose which ones you'd like to be involved in. Each event has a membership fee based on how many members are involved and what the overhead is going to be for El Zotz. This can range from an estimated $5 to $20 depending on where we are, how we're getting there, et cetera. The fee is for your crates' entry into the event and has nothing to do with the sales of your LPs. We cannot guarantee sales.

Each member of El Zotz is responsible for their own crates. Pricing/ cleaning/ prepping of the LPs is done by the individual owners unless previous arrangements have been made with Jen, who offers these services for a fee of $1 per record. Jen can show you how to prep your own vinyl, please inquire about scheduling a tutorial! These arrangements must be made a MINIMUM of 14 days in advance of the event you're participating in. LPs must show up at Bombshell ready-to-sell (unless you've talked to Jen).
Event participation doesn't mean you need to be there in person, but your crates must be physically submitted 2 days in advance with the membership fee, a complete index and a price sheet for what you've got. Inventory will be checked in and out using the index submitted. Cashout is based on the updated (post-event) inventory, and occurs at checkout.
Jen and the rest of El Zotz are not liable for "act of god" damage or loss. Please ask about what this means!
Who is Jen again?
Jen started working at Tower Records in 1998 and never left the game. She's got a nice stack of years of experience as a buyer and close to a lifetime spent as a vinylhead. She came up with the Zotz cuz she's down for LYFE.
